PEDIATRIC SURGICAL ASSOCIATES, is a private practice located at 30 WEST CENTURY ROAD in Paramus, New Jersey. The practice is a Center of Excellence for Pectus, focusing on treating children and adults who have some form of pectus deformity, most commonly pectus excavatum.

Role Description

This is a full or part-time role for a Physician Assistant at PEDIATRIC SURGICAL ASSOCIATES, in Paramus, NJ. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for assisting with medical care to pediatric patients, assisting in surgical procedures, conducting patient assessments, and collaborating with the physician to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will also be responsible to serve as Program Coordinator for the Pectus Program and oversee the Surgical and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure the reputation of the Center of Excellence is maintained, as well as market the practice on social media.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant License in New Jersey
• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience working in pediatric surgery or a related field
• Pediatric Medicine, Surgical Assistance, and Patient Assessment skills
• Experience in Thoracic Surgery a plus, but not necessary.
• Credentialed at The Valley Hospital, Paramus a plus, but not necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with a healthcare team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Salary to commensurate with experience.
